Job Description

We are seeking a SAP Production Planning (PP) Solution Architect / Functional Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP S/4HANA PP, Advanced ATP/ATP, and SAP MM and a proven ability to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end planning and manufacturing processes with robust cross-functional integration .

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and implement SAP PP solutions across discrete, process, and repetitive manufacturing.
• Configure and support Material Master, BOM, Routings, Production Versions, Work Centers, Production Orders, Process Orders, and Repetitive Manufacturing.
• Configure and optimize MRP Live and Classic MRP, Demand Management, and Long-Term Planning.
• Optimize production scheduling, capacity planning, and Engineering Change Management using SAP best practices.
• Configure and optimize ATP/aATP, including Product Availability Check, Alternative-Based Confirmation, Backorder Processing, Product Allocation, and Release for Delivery.
• Improve order confirmation accuracy and delivery commitments in collaboration with Sales, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams.
• Configure and support SAP MM processes for Procurement, Purchasing, Inventory Management, GR/GI, Stock Transfers, Physical Inventory, Vendor Master, and Material Valuation.
• Optimize inventory levels and material availability in partnership with warehouse and logistics teams.
• Design and support integration between PP and MM, SD, EWM, WM, QM, PM, TM, IBP, MES, SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP PI/PO, and APIs/IDocs/OData services.
• Analyze current processes, recommend SAP best practices, and drive improvements in planning accuracy, inventory, cycle time, and automation.
• Lead SAP S/4HANA implementations, conduct workshops, gather requirements, and produce Functional and Technical Specification reviews.
• Support Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, cutover planning, go-live, Hypercare, and ongoing production support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), and ATP/aATP expertise.
• Proficiency in MRP Live, Demand Management, Production Scheduling, and Capacity Planning.
• Integration experience with SD, MM, EWM/WM, QM, PM, TM, IBP, MES, SAP BTP Integration Suite, and SAP PI/PO using APIs, IDocs, and OData.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with effective communication.
• Experience leading cross-functional workshops and mentoring team members.
• Experience in High-Tech, Manufacturing, Consumer Products, Automotive, or Industrial Manufacturing sectors.
• English language proficiency.
• Availability to work 8 AM to 5 PM CST. Work on site not required.
• Experience level: 20+ years in SAP PP/MM with 3+ full lifecycle implementations and 2+ S/4HANA implementations or migrations.

Preferred Skills:

• SAP S/4HANA, SAP PP, and SAP MM certifications.
• Experience with SAP IBP, SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM), MES, SAP EWM, SAP TM, SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP Fiori, and Embedded Analytics.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau and knowledge of AI-enabled supply chain planning and manufacturing analytics.
