What you will do:You act as the first contact for our internationally oriented middle market client baseWork closely with German clients doing business in the USA in a variety of interesting projectsInvolved with the audit or review of annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, HGB and IFRS under international accounting standardsIndependent and self-directed management of audit teamsInterdisciplinary cooperation with tax consultantsOpportunities to advise our clients independently in the design and implementation of international transactionsUnlimited training resources to continue building your knowledgeOpportunities to think across boundaries and step into business development effortsSupport to pass the US CPA ExamWhat you need to bring:Successfully completed a degree in business management, economics or similar field of studySuccessfully completed the German Certified Public Accountant exam preferredAt least 4-5 years of professional experience in assurance servicesExceptional English speaking and writing skillsTeam player, being able to structure, organize and lead a team of professionalsSound knowledge of German HGB and international accounting (IFRS/ US GAAP)Client-oriented thinking and excellent communication skillsDemonstrate confidence, factual reasoning and work well with othersWho we serve:Foreign-owned US subsidiaries, typically from German-speaking countriesClients in many industries mainly manufacturing, distribution & technologyBenefits: We understand that talented individuals are drawn to companies that offer comprehensive benefits packages.
