Position Summary

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and performing preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting efficient manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment and facility systems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance and reliability.
• Install, set up, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), PLCs, and Servo/Stepper systems.
• Work safely while maintaining compliance with company safety policies.
• Assist with continuous improvement efforts to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

Qualifications

Required:

• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills in:
  • Mechanical systems
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Electrical and electronic systems
  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
  • PLCs
  • Servo and Stepper systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Experience with automatic resistance welders, industrial programmable saws, multipoint drills, edgebanders, or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or a related technical field (may be considered in lieu of some experience).

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Frequently lift, twist, stoop, and stand throughout the shift.
• Ability to independently lift up to 60 pounds.
• Comfortable working in manufacturing conditions that may include dust, oil, moisture, and high noise levels.
• Forklift certification is a plus (training/certification available).
