Construction Manager

Job Summary Construction Manager – responsible for managing the company's leasehold interior (LHI) construction process for new facility development, acquisition conversions, and existing facility upgrades. The role ensures timely, high‑quality results within budget while overseeing capital project management for all facilities. Duties and Responsibilities Obtain all zoning and use due diligence information to verify the property’s suitability for equipment use and secure required permits. Source leasehold improvement bids and assist with LHI budgeting. Complete projects on schedule while maintaining quality control. Collaborate with regional operations to communicate and execute all construction projects, including new construction, relocations, remodels, and retrofits. Select architects and engineers, prepare future plans and contract documents based on experience, budget, and timeliness. Visit job sites to measure project performance regarding quality, schedule, and cost. Ensure timely repairs and maintenance of existing stores. Review and approve contracts, work orders, and purchase orders for construction projects. Advise management on facility technical matters. Attend planning and zoning meetings as required. Develop and monitor departmental and construction budgets. Manage communication among construction partners to ensure proper dissemination of information. Select or change vendors, architects, engineers, and contractors with appropriate approvals. Approve change orders, purchase orders, and invoices within designated approval levels; authorize payments accordingly. Oversee key leasehold purchases and installations (signs, fuel tanks, security systems, etc.). Assist management in maintaining environmental compliance. Support maintenance staffing as needed. Qualifications College degree preferred. At least 5 years of construction management experience preferred. Strong communication skills. Detail‑oriented and organized. Negotiation skills. Base Pay Range $94,248.00 – $129,591.00 (starting rate varies by position, location, education, training, and experience).
