Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to lead strategic growth initiatives across a growing organization. This executive leadership position is responsible for developing and executing long-term growth strategies, overseeing sales and marketing initiatives, and collaborating with senior leadership to identify opportunities that support sustainable business success.


The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can build relationships, drive organizational growth, and align business development efforts with operational capabilities and long-term objectives.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Business Growth

• Develop and execute long-term business development strategies.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.
• Assess growth opportunities while balancing operational capacity and business objectives.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to establish strategic priorities and support organizational goals.
• Analyze market trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth.

Sales & Marketing Leadership

• Provide leadership and direction for sales and marketing initiatives.
• Develop strategies to increase market presence and support revenue growth.
• Monitor sales performance and key business metrics.
• Support strategic customer relationships and business opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and customer experience.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Build strong relationships across departments to promote communication and teamwork.
• Partner with leadership and operational teams to ensure alignment on business priorities.
• Mentor and support managers and team members through coaching and professional development.
• Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve business performance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field preferred.
• Several years of progressive leadership experience in business development, sales, or strategic planning.
• Demonstrated success developing and implementing business growth strategies.
• Experience leading sales and marketing teams.
• Strong financial, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Executive or senior leadership experience.
• Experience supporting growth across multiple business units or locations.
• Background in organizational development, strategic planning, or operational leadership.
