About our property The iconic Arizona Biltmore is located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood in Phoenix. The resort was named the “Jewel of the Desert” since its opening on February 23, 1929. This gorgeous 39‑acre property reopened in May 2021 after undergoing a $150 million restoration. It has over 700 rooms, over 200,000 square feet in banquet space spread out over the beautiful property, 9 food and beverage outlets (including 2 restaurants, 2 bars, 2 poolside bars, a gelato shop/café, and in‑room dining), a luxury spa, and 7 pools including a 65' waterslide. Hotel Website, Instagram, Facebook What you will have an opportunity to do McArthur's Server is responsible for service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking and delivery of any food and/or beverage items. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction. Check station before, during and after shift for proper set‑up and cleanliness. Greet the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness. Record the details of the order from the guests, repeating the order to the guest to check for accuracy. Input the order into the Point of Sale computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars in the order being placed. When complete, retrieve order from kitchen, confirm its accuracy, lift and deliver to guest along with appropriate condiments. Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests. Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction. Market and serve upon request any dessert items or specialty coffees. Ascertain guest satisfaction and present check. Process check per hotel procedures. What are we looking for EDUCATION High School graduate or equivalent preferred EXPERIENCE Prefer six (6) months to one (1) year previous serving experience. Prior hospitality experience preferred. LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES Must obtain any government required Food Safety Certifications such as Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card.
