Job Description

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce all OSHA, NFPA 70E, and company safety policies with a zero-tolerance approach to unsafe conditions
• Lead and document daily toolbox talks, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and site safety inspections
• Ensure all field personnel maintain required certifications (OSHA 10/30, arc flash, aerial lifts, etc.)
• Partner with the safety team on incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions

Scheduling & Production

• Develop and maintain detailed three-week look-ahead schedules and communicate updates to project management
• Track daily labor productivity against baseline schedules and budget targets (goal: 90%+ productivity)
• Identify potential schedule risks early and provide recovery plans to mitigate delays
• Manage material staging, laydown areas, and field equipment for optimal jobsite efficiency

Quality Control

• Ensure all electrical installations comply with NEC code requirements, project specifications, and AHJ standards
• Lead commissioning, testing, and startup activities in coordination with engineers and project teams
• Manage punch list completion and resolve non-conformance items efficiently, ensuring high-quality project closeouts

Communication & Reporting

• Produce accurate and timely daily reports including manpower, completed work, and any delays or issues
• Represent the electrical scope in weekly OAC and coordination meetings
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with general contractors, inspectors, owners, and subcontractors
• Proactively communicate workforce and material requirements with adequate lead time

The Successful Applicant

• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, with proven experience as a Superintendent or Lead Foreman
• Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA regulations, and electrical safety standards
• Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time and maintaining high productivity levels
• Experience managing field teams, subcontractors, and coordinating with multiple trades
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
