As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our facility. If you have a passion for working with seniors and a strong background in customer service, we encourage you to apply for this full-time, 40 hours/week opportunity.Duties & Responsibilities:Operate telephone while utilizing proper phone etiquetteReceive and direct all persons entering the facility to appropriate areasResponsible for general typing and secretarial functionsDistribute paychecks per policy and procedureReceive and direct incoming mail and deliveries appropriatelyDemonstrate correct safety techniquesRespect and take care of facility equipment and not wasteful of suppliesContribute to and promote resident and family relationsKnowledgeable in facility's Privacy Practice and complies by protecting all residents' health informationOther duties as assigned by managerSpecific Requirements:Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageMust possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and to remain calm during emergency situationsMust possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general publicMust be knowledgeable of administrative practices, procedures, and guidelinesMust possess a cheerful personality and be able to work harmoniously with other personnelMust possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practicesMust be able to follow written and oral instructionsHas knowledge of personnel application proceduresMust be able to type 50 words per minuteIs knowledgeable of all office equipmentWork Environment:As a Receptionist at AdviniaCare Waterview Villa, you will work in a warm and comfortable environment that prioritizes the well-being of our residents.
