Warehouse Associate II – Electric Pallet Jack Operator Olive Branch, MS

Full-Time | 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday – Friday

7:00 AM – 3:45 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM

Pay: $17.00/HR | Overtime: $25.50/HR

Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Protective Industrial Products (PIP) is seeking dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate II candidates to join our distribution center in Olive Branch, MS.

This position is ideal for candidates with warehouse experience, especially those with recent experience operating an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) . The primary responsibility of this role is utilizing an Electric Pallet Jack to efficiently pick and move products throughout the warehouse while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities Warehouse Operations

• Operate an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse

• Use RF Scan Guns to accurately pick customer orders

• Perform order picking, product staging, shipping, receiving, and inventory movement

• Maintain accurate inventory and product organization

• Identify and report inventory discrepancies or damaged products

Equipment Operation

• Safely operate Electric Pallet Jacks and RF Scan Guns

• Complete pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections

• Perform basic equipment safety checks and report maintenance concerns

• Follow all equipment operating procedures and warehouse safety standards

Safety & Quality

• Follow all company safety policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area

• Participate in ongoing safety training and continuous improvement initiatives

• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment issues immediately

Teamwork

• Work independently while supporting overall warehouse productivity

• Assist with cross-functional warehouse tasks as needed

• Maintain a positive attitude and dependable work ethic

Qualifications Required

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse or distribution center experience

• Recent experience operating an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) is required

• Experience using RF Scan Guns

• Experience with picking, packing, shipping, and receiving

• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy

• Dependable attendance and punctuality

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Preferred

• Previous Electric Pallet Jack certification

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

• Basic computer and data entry skills

• Previous experience in a distribution center environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying throughout the shift

• Ability to work in a warehouse environment for the duration of the shift

• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks safely and efficiently

Employment Requirements

• Full-time attendance and reliability are required.

• Overtime may be required based on operational needs.

• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.

• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.

• Must provide proof of current valid U.S. Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or U.S. Person eligibility to work in the United States upon hire.

• Reliable transportation to Olive Branch, MS is required.
