Growing together.As a Licensed Practical Nurse you will be ensuring the well-being of patients while working in conjunction with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, front office and clinical staff. This role is based in one of our location practices.Our teams utilize a collaborative working model to build connections across our centers and communities. The primary center for this position is Greenfield, IN though you may also operate in other local work sites on an as needed basis.Location: Gahanna, OHStatus: Full-TimeSpecialty: Primary CarePrimary Responsibilities:Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals and answer patient calls as neededPerform Clinical Intake with patients to include taking and recording vital signs and patient historyAssist patients as needed with walking, transfer, specimen collection, exam preparation, etc.Maintain clinical supplies and equipment and ensure proper storage of biohazardsClean exam/procedure rooms, instruments and equipment between patient visits to maintain infection controlAssist providers with minor, in-office procedures and perform point-of-care testingAssist with allergy injections, mixing of allergy vials and allergy testingYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High school diploma/GEDAdditional Requirements for LPNs: Valid Ohio LPN licenseCurrent CPR CertificationAdditional Requirements for MAs: Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA) or willing to attain that certification within 9 months of employmentPreferred Qualifications:1+ years of Licensed Practical Nurse experience with electronic medical records softwareCPR certification for MA'sExperience performing medical back office tasks including obtaining vital signs, injections/immunizations, phlebotomy, urinalysis and administering medicationsExperience performing medical front office tasks including scheduling appointments, prior authorizations, medication refills and referralsPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
