Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized intensive care nursing services in the ICU, ensuring high-quality patient care for critically ill patients. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive treatment and monitor patient progress effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the care of critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and clinical data diligently.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in Cerner and other electronic health record systems.
• Adhere to hospital policies regarding holiday staffing and workload expectations.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with at least 2 years of recent ICU experience.
• Possess a current AHA BLS and ACLS certification.
• Preferred: Certification in CCRN and NIHSS.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to work varying shifts from 7AM to 7:30PM, including holidays.
• Must pass health screening and background checks.
