Job Details Specialty: Mother/Baby / Postpartum / Newborn Nursery Location: Irving, TX 75039 Duration: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,350 - $1,420 Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment Start Date: 8/10/2026 End Date: 11/9/2026 Schedule: Every other weekend Job Requirements Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license required; temporary license is not accepted 2 years of hospital nursing experience required Experience caring for high-risk antepartum patients and postpartum recoveries Newborn Nursery experience required NRP certification required BLS certification required Meditech experience preferred RNC-OB preferred Ability to work nights and every other weekend as scheduled Responsibilities Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to postpartum mothers and newborns Monitor high-risk antepartum patients and support safe postpartum recovery Deliver newborn nursery nursing care with a focus on safety, education, and family support Perform IV placement and other routine bedside nursing interventions Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes Maintain a professional, family-focused environment that promotes comfort and confidence for patients Why This Travel Nursing Opportunity?
