Your Core Responsibilities

• Executing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing unique care guidelines
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses both independently and in synergy with physicians, as appropriate
• Guiding patients and their families on prevention, wellness, and health management strategies
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies in accordance with your professional qualifications
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing ongoing chronic conditions

• Accurately documenting care activities within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Prerequisites

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduated from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
