What You Will Be Engaged In

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic tests, and creating customized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently based on your credentials
• Improving patient understanding through education on prevention, wellness, and managing chronic illnesses
• Prescribing necessary medications and treatments within the scope of practice
• Engaging in follow-up care and the management of chronic conditions
• Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, comprehensive care
• Documenting findings meticulously in electronic medical records (EMR)

Necessary Education and Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent in your specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
