You will be responsible for:Preparing designs and specifications, assisting in generation of layoutsPreparing and checking drawing and processes changes as required for production and customersAssuring form, fit, and function of components through dimensional studies, and correlating engineering data to customer specificationsInterfacing with other departments for the manufacturing and testing of samplesInterfacing with customers and vendors to assure conformance to customer specificationsCoordinating the manufacturing of customer prototypesPerforming the functions required to process estimate requests and marketing product requestsPerforming engineering investigations of manufacturing/quality problemsReviewing customer documents for compliance with AMHS documents and if necessary, preparing new designs to conform to these documentsWorking closely with the Business Development Managers and Product Managers of various business unitsRegularly and proactively communicating with customers, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Process, Purchasing, and experimental personnelIf you have the skills, experience, and desire to join our talented team and contribute to the needs of today's modern aircraft, we want to talk to you about this opportunity.Qualifications RequiredBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field or equivalent experienceMinimum 3 years of related experienceExperience in design or design engineeringExperience with AutoCAD and/or Creo is preferredMust be a U.S. CitizenSalary Range$73,923.20 - $131,331.20 USDThis position may require the ability to access to U.S. federal facilities.
