TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Spokane, Washington, 99204!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of neurology RN experience License: Valid state compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Comfortable with the NIH scale - Proficient in caring for post-surgical neurology patients and various neurology diagnoses Description: This position requires a registered nurse with experience in telemetry and neurology. The nurse will float between units as needed. Weekend work is required, with every other weekend scheduled. No on-call responsibilities are necessary for this role. The expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5. Candidates must have experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tube management, craniotomy, CVA interpretation, dysrhythmia management, and care in a neuro stepdown setting. Experience in pre/post-neurosurgery care and procedural sedation administration and monitoring is required. The registered nurse will also care for patients with spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries. Candidates must have experience with Epic charting. This role involves teamwork with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. The unit has a daily census of approximately 48 patients. It is designated as a stroke unit and is thrombectomy capable, as well as being recognized as a center of excellence in spine care. Neuro experience is mandatory for this position.
