Civil Project Engineer

Job Roles and ResponsibilitiesPrepare site design plans for commercial land development projects under the guidance of a Project Manager.Develop grading plans, drainage calculations, and utility infrastructure designs.Coordinate water, sewer, storm drainage, dry utility, and related infrastructure improvements.Review zoning ordinances, development regulations, and agency requirements to identify site development constraints.Perform due diligence activities, including utility research, regulatory reviews, and site investigations.Prepare conceptual site plans and development layouts based on project objectives.Develop erosion and sediment control plans and supporting calculations.Communicate with clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies to support successful project delivery.Assist with project coordination and client communication.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout all phases of project execution.Qualifications and CertificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.Minimum of 4 years of land development experience.Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required.Experience with grading, drainage, and utility design for commercial development projects.Working knowledge of applicable engineering regulations and codes.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance.Health Savings Account (HSA) options.Retirement savings plan with employer contributions.Paid time off and paid holidays.Flexible work schedule options.Professional development opportunities.Financial assistance for professional licensure.Career growth and leadership development programs.Team-building events and company-sponsored activities.
