Regional Operations Manager (Performance & Growth Leader)

Location: Ohio Central and Southeast Region (Travel Required) Candidate may live anywhere in the region

COMPENSATION: 150-175K with potential bonus up to 30%

The Role

This is not a coordination role.

This is not a reporting role.

This is a regional business leadership role responsible for driving performance, creating accountability, and building a high-output culture across multiple branches.

You will lead Operations Managers and their teams—but more importantly, you will own the performance of the region . That includes revenue, profitability, customer experience, and the pace at which the business runs.

If you're comfortable pushing leaders, addressing issues directly, and driving results—this role fits. If you prefer maintaining systems and observing performance, it won't.

 

What You'll Own Drive Regional Performance

• Own Parts and Service revenue and profitability across all locations in your region
• Set clear expectations and push branches to hit and exceed targets
• Identify gaps quickly and implement actions that move the numbers

Create Urgency Across the Region

• Establish a high standard for speed, responsiveness, and execution
• Remove friction between branches, departments, and teams
• Ensure machines, parts, and decisions move fast—no bottlenecks, no waiting

Lead Branch Leadership

• Lead, coach, and hold accountable Operations Managers and their teams
• Raise the standard of leadership across the region
• Address underperformance directly and quickly

Own the Customer Experience at Scale

• Ensure consistent, high-level customer service across all locations
• Step into major issues and ensure fast resolution
• Build relationships with key regional customers

Drive Alignment with Sales & Growth

• Partner closely with Sales, Rental, and PSSR teams to support growth
• Ensure operations is enabling—not slowing down—revenue generation
• Help create momentum across the region by aligning teams toward winning business

Run a Disciplined Operation

• Maintain strong financial performance across all branches
• Ensure facilities, safety, and 5S standards are met without compromising speed
• Standardize what works—but don't let process slow down execution

 

How You'll Be Measured

• Regional Parts Revenue & Gross Profit vs. Budget
• Regional Service Revenue & Gross Profit vs. Budget
• Speed of execution (turnaround time, responsiveness)
• Customer satisfaction and retention
• Performance consistency across branches
• Branch 5S Scores

 

What We're Looking For

• A high-accountability leader who drives results through people
• Strong business instincts —you understand what moves revenue and profit
• High sense of urgency —you don't tolerate slow or stuck operations
• Ability to coach leaders , not just manage processes
• Willingness to be in the field and engaged with teams and customers

Experience:

• 5+ years leading multi-location teams or comparable leadership scope
• Background in dealership, service, construction, or related industry preferred
• Proven track record of improving performance—not just maintaining it

 

Travel

• 60–70% travel within region
• This role is expected to be in branches regularly—leading from the front

Please keep in mind that the posted pay range represents the range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual hourly/salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location, certifications, and skill development and potential bonuses.
