Registered Nurse – Step Down (IMCU) / Progressive Care (PCU) Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite) Contract: 13 weeks with potential for long-term continuation Pay: $2,000.00 per week for a 36‑hour week (36‑ or 48‑hour options available) Shift: Night shift (approx. 12‑hour, 36‑hour, or 48‑hour weeks) Patient ratio: 1:4 RN to patients Unit: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) – treat complex, high‑acuity patients including sepsis, heart failure, respiratory failure, COPD, encephalopathy, hypertension emergency, chronic kidney disease, T2DM, substance abuse. We welcome both local and travel candidates. Immediate start preferred. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the IMCU/PCU setting. Manage acute medical and surgical patients with high acuity. Administer medications, including heparin drip. Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and communication. Follow BLS and ACLS protocols. Qualifications Registered Nurse license in Georgia. Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Step Down / IMCU / Progressive Care units. Experience with 16–20 bed units and a nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 1:4. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Preferred prior travel experience. Contract role – no floating; No benefits included. Locals accepted – no radius restriction. Benefits & Other Contract position – no benefits included.
