Dietary Aide
Cortland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team! As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents by assisting with food service operations, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and promoting overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Portion and serve food items
- Deliver trays and carts to resident floors and dining rooms
- Work on tray line, dish room, and pot sink
- Sweep, mop, and dispose of trash and recyclables
- Perform other job-related duties as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks
- Ability to interact positively with residents, families, clients, center staff, and the public
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of fifty pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time
