Experienced Personal Injury Paralegal with New Jersey or New York Experience. Remote position. Start at 20 hours, move to full-time if performance meets expectations.

Compensation:

$30 - $60 per hour DOE

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage all phases of litigation, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, to support case progression.
• Conduct thorough legal research and gather relevant case law to assist attorneys in developing case strategies.
• Maintain organized case files and manage electronic document databases to ensure easy access and retrieval.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and provide updates on case status.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing exhibits and summarizing transcripts.
• Monitor court deadlines and ensure all filings are completed promptly to avoid delays in proceedings.

• Strong organizational skills to maintain detailed case files and manage electronic document databases efficiently.

• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts, ensuring clear and timely updates.

• Experience in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions, including organizing exhibits and summarizing transcripts.

• Ability to monitor court deadlines diligently, ensuring timely completion of all filings to prevent delays in proceedings.
