Paralegal

We are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join our law firm in Houston. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team in various projects and cases. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and legal knowledge will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal processes.

You will be involved in conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, assisting in case preparation, and providing administrative support to attorneys. This role is vital to the success of our legal team and requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of legal procedures and terminology.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
• Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, and contracts.
• Organize and maintain legal files and documents.
• Coordinate communication between clients, attorneys, and other parties involved in cases.
• Prepare and file legal documents with the court.
• Assist in trial preparation and support attorneys during trials.
• Manage calendars, appointments, and deadlines for attorneys.
• Provide general administrative support to the legal team.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
• Proven experience working as a Paralegal in a law firm or legal department.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
