PATIENT INFORMATION

Average Daily Volume: Up to 18 procedures per day (outpatient)
Case Mix: Colonoscopy and Endoscopy
Rounding: Not included

FACILITY INFORMATION

Support Staff Available: Advanced Practitioners, hospital support, office staff, anesthesiologist

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Credentialing Timeline: 30 days

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Colonoscopy
Endoscopy

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified (BC) in Gastroenterology
Licenses: Active Florida License
Experience: Minimum 50 patients (inpatient/consultative) in past 12 months; procedure log requirements for Colonoscopy and Endoscopy
Other Qualifications: Clean background check and NPDB report

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform outpatient GI endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy and endoscopy.
Note and document resulting pathology.
Provide coverage at various Lee Health locations (LMH, CCH, GCMC) as assigned.
Collaborate with support staff including advanced practitioners and anesthesiologists.
Ensure compliance with credentialing requirements and maintain active FL license.
