• Location: Dallas, TX — full-time, on-site
• Pay: $75,000 base + uncapped commissions; $135,000 target OTE
• Schedule: 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. with a one-hour break
• Key Requirements: Proven cold-calling/outbound sales success, strong phone rapport, and comfort making 150–200 calls daily
Our client is a privately held, self-funded buyer of oil and gas mineral and royalty interests nationwide. Founded in 2006, the company has completed more than 30,000 transactions.
In this role, you’ll contact engineering-sourced leads, build trust with owners, and qualify acquisition opportunities. Business development leadership and the technical team handle evaluation and closing.
Responsibilities
• Make approximately 150–200 outbound calls daily using Salesforce and a dialer.
• Build rapport, understand sellers’ needs, and explain the potential benefits of selling.
• Address initial questions and nurture prospects through follow-up conversations.
• Maintain accurate lead records, conversation notes, and follow-up tasks in Salesforce.
• Meet activity and lead-generation goals while supporting a consistent team pipeline.
Qualifications
• Proven outbound sales, cold-calling, or sales development experience in a metric-driven environment.
• Measurable success meeting or exceeding sales activity and performance goals.
• Strong phone presence, rapport-building, objection-handling, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and follow-through.
• Resilience, initiative, and motivation to earn performance-based compensation.
• Collaborative mindset and interest in growing within a small organization.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Dallas.
Preferred: Salesforce, dialer, or other CRM experience.
