Vice President, Account Management

Position Overview: The Vice President, Account Management (Strategic Accounts) is responsible for leading Datavant’s relationships with a portfolio of highly complex, strategically important provider customers. This role owns retention, revenue growth, executive engagement, and value realization across assigned accounts, ensuring Datavant is positioned as a long-term strategic partner within each customer organization. Key Responsibilities: Own overall relationship health, retention, and growth for assigned strategic provider accounts Lead executive‑level engagement and multi‑threaded relationships across customer organizations Develop and execute account strategies aligned to customers’ business objectives, market dynamics, and growth initiatives Drive renewals, renegotiations, and expansion opportunities in partnership with GTM and Finance Champion adoption of Datavant’s digital solutions, global workflows, and modernized operating models Proactively identify account risk and lead resolution of high‑impact customer issues Translate operational performance into clear, value‑based narratives for senior customer stakeholders Partner closely with Service Delivery to ensure transparency, alignment, and issue resolution Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Finance, Implementation, and Marketing to deliver on customer commitments Maintain accurate account plans, forecasts, and CRM documentation Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred 8–12+ years experience in healthcare account management, strategic sales, or services Proven success managing large, complex provider or enterprise customer relationships Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders Demonstrated commercial acumen, including renewals, pricing, and margin considerations Deep understanding of healthcare provider environments and HIPAA‑regulated services Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills Ability to travel up to 50–75%

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. This role is eligible for additional variable compensation. The estimated base salary range (not including variable pay) for this role is:$145,600—$167,400 USD
