Payroll Manager - Hybrid | DMV Area

Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a midmarket organization in the DMV area to identify a Payroll Manager for a hybrid role. This position supports a stable payroll environment and works closely with Accounting and HR leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage biweekly payroll processing for a midsized employee population
- Oversee payroll compliance, reconciliations, and reporting
- Serve as the primary payroll contact for employee inquiries
- Partner with Accounting on payroll entries and monthend close
- Support benefits administration and timekeeping processes
- Maintain payroll systems and vendor relationships
- 5+ years of payroll experience
- Experience with payroll systems outside of Workday (construction or midmarket ERP a plus)
- Knowledge of multistate payroll and compliance
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (4 days onsite)
- Employment Type: Direct Hire
