As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and support a secure environment for employees, drivers, and deliveries. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures. Inspect identification, visitor credentials, and vehicle access documentation; maintain accurate access logs and report discrepancies to site management. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
