job summary:
Join the team in Fair Lawn, NJ, as a QC Technician II (Second Shift) . This is a critical role for a detail-oriented professional looking to make a direct impact on manufacturing quality. You will work a consistent second shift (4:00 PM - 12:00 AM) in a fast-paced laboratory environment focused on finished product release and in-line testing.

responsibilities:

• Perform fit-for-purpose analytical testing for in-line and finished product release following strict operating procedures.
• Prepare standards and samples for analysis and operate laboratory instrumentation with minimal supervision.
• Document all analytical data in LIMS and laboratory notebooks following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Assist in Out of Specification (OOS) investigations by conducting relevant testing and thorough documentation.
• Support Lean Six Sigma initiatives and continuous improvement activities to optimize laboratory methods.
• Maintain general laboratory housekeeping and safety standards.

qualifications:
Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of 2 years of industry experience, specifically within the Chemistry or Bio/Pharmaceutical sectors.
• Proficiency in wet chemistry and basic analytical instrumentation.
• Ability to work the 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM shift.

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience with chromatography.
• Familiarity with analytical test methods including ACS, USP/NF, EP/BP, JP, or FCC.
• Knowledge of Lean methods and process improvement initiatives.
