Clinical Nurse Educator 3- Nursing Education- FT, Day Shift Position Summary The Ambulatory Nurse Educator is responsible for the design and implementation of education programs and professional development of nurses in the Ambulatory setting; focused on clinical outcomes and practice development. Will work closely with department managers and Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) on the educational needs assessment and orientation programs for staff in the Ambulatory nursing division. Ensures that competencies and skills are current and relevant for the nursing staff. Required Qualifications Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Minimum 3 years recent nursing experience in an Ambulatory Setting Knowledge of Title 22 and Joint Commission Requirements Demonstrated teaching/education/in-service skills with the ability to lead effectively Computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office Products, including Word & Outlook Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System Preferred Qualifications Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Experience in adult education Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse Basic Life Support Bachelor of Science, NursingMaster of Science in Nursing Total Rewards We offer a wealth of benefits to make working at UCI even more rewarding.
