Description of the Position

The Data Specialty Council of Sopra Steria Next, a cross-functional entity of the France division, supports large organizations in their Data & AI transformations.

In this context, we are recruiting a technical-functional consultant for Data Governance/Data Management, with expertise in market solutions such as Informatica, Collibra, DataGalaxy, or Semarchy.

Work Environment

You will work with large accounts (industry, services, public sector…) on Data transformation programs.

Your missions

Data Governance and Framing

• Define and implement data governance frameworks
• Conduct data maturity audits (organization, processes, tools)
• Define roles, responsibilities, and governance models
• Lead framing workshops and formalize requirements

Deployment of Data Governance Tools

• Implement and configure market solutions: Collibra / Atlan / DataGalaxy (catalog, glossary, lineage) Informatica (Data Governance, Data Quality, MDM) Sifflet (Data Observability) Semarchy (xDM, Data Platform)
• Model metadata (datasets, glossary, lineage)
• Configure validation and certification workflows
• Structure usage around the data catalog

Data Quality & Data Observability

• Define and implement data quality rules
• Implement monitoring indicators (KPI quality)
• Analyze anomalies and drive remediation plans
• Contribute to data monitoring systems (observability)

Integration & Data Architecture

• Integrate governance tools with existing architectures (DWH, Data Lake, business systems)
• Participate in the structuring of data flows and metadata
• Manipulate data via SQL and data tools
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams

Consulting & Project Contributions

• Participate in framing and pre-sales phases (RFP, framing)
• Contribute to the definition of Data Governance trajectories
• Develop demonstrators or POCs on tools
• Participate in internal capitalization and the evolution of offers

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bac+5 (computer science, data, information systems, or equivalent)
• 3 to 7 years of experience in Data Governance/Data Management
• Experience with at least one of the following tools: Informatica, Collibra, DataGalaxy, Semarchy
• Professional English (B2)
