Nursing Assistant - Intermediate Care Unit, 90% Day/Evening

This is a Day/Evening position with 8/12-hour shifts, Varied work schedule with shifts of: 7am-7:30pm, 7am-3:30pm, and 3pm-11:30pm. Every other Weekend and holiday rotation is required. We are seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our new Intermediate Unit: This state of the art 16-bed hospitalist intermediate care unit specializes in providing comprehensive, high-acuity nursing care to adults presenting with a wide variety of medical diagnosis, complex comorbidities or hemodynamic instability requiring increased support. Patient populations include those with acute respiratory failure, sepsis, or severe multi-organ dysfunction. Be a supportive partner with Registered Nurses on the unit. Provide direct physical care and basic nursing procedures and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Interact and engage with visitors, patients, and their family members to establish a trusting relationship to provide high quality care.
