We are actively searching for a dedicated Assistant Project Manager to play a vital role in our continued success. This position focuses on overseeing projects within Division 8 and Division 10. As the Assistant Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Project Manager in all aspects of project execution, ensuring that each project is completed on time and within budget. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of critical tasks including estimating, detailing, document management, and overseeing the procurement, shipping, and receiving processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in project management while working closely with seasoned professionals in the field. Primary Responsibilities Assist in preparing and validating project estimates, quotes and purchase orders. Help manage, update, and organize projects in bid tracking software. Efficiently edit and organize job documents. Work with PM to address changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and resolve scope conflicts. Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project. Effectively resolve customer issues and complaints with a proactive approach. Handle incoming calls and provide relevant support. Greet walk-in customers and provide assistance as needed. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge. Skills And Qualifications 2+ Years experience in the Doors and hardware, building materials, or related construction industry role. Proficiency in software tools like ComSense and Pro-Tech is preferred. Strong competency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive. Experience working with people in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Knowledge of frames, door, and hardware products, materials, and industry standards.
