Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Education

Required: 1. Associate in Science degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.

2. ASCP, NCA, or other nationally recognized licensure.

Preferred:

• Work Experience

Required: Internship in a hospital laboratory.

Preferred: 2 years practical experience

• Licensure/Certifications/Registrations

Required: Nationally recognized certification i.e. ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists), NCA (National Credentialing Agency), ASCLS (American Society of Clinical Laboratory Scientists).

• Other Skills/Knowledge

Must be detail oriented and organized; must be able to work under pressure; must have good manual dexterity and good color vision.
