Law and Motion Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Law and Motion Associate in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in law and motion work, serving as embedded appellate counsel at trial, and managing complex litigation workflows. Duties Lead law and motion work in advance of trial. Serve as embedded appellate counsel at trial. Manage multiple significant matters simultaneously. Coordinate across multiple teams to drive case strategy. Develop legal strategy and lead briefing on complex legal issues. Requirements 5th to 7th year associate with law and motion experience. Proficient in written advocacy at the trial level. Experience with large multi-member teams. Leadership experience on legal matters. Experience in product liability and mass torts is a plus. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in the state of Texas. Skills Excellent academic credentials. Strong brief writing and case management skills.
