CNC Machinist Requirements:

• 3-4 + Years of Manual or CNC Machining machining experience required
• Set-up experience required
• Must be open to shift rotation (Day Shift then afternoon shift) required
• Experience with Horizontal Boring Mills, Vertical Turning Center, Vertical Mill, or Horizontal Lathes preferred
• Experience Machining large, Heavy Steel Mill Parts (i.e. Shafts, Rolls, Housings) preferred
• Experience with the repair/refurbishment of Industrial Parts/Machines preferred

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

• This role involves setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC equipment
• This equipment is including Horizontal Boring Mills, Vertical Turning Centers, Vertical Mills, and Horizontal Lathes to manufacture and repair precision parts for steel mill and heavy industrial equipment
• Responsibilities include machining large parts, reading blueprints, performing setups, etc.
• Additional duties include making tool changes and offsets, and holding tight tolerances across both new production and repair/refurbishment work
• Perform other duties as assigned
