Business Analyst

Piper Companies is seeking a Business Analyst to join a leading pharmaceutical and clinical research organization focused on advancing innovative healthcare solutions. The Business Analyst will play a critical role in identifying business challenges, gathering and translating requirements, and partnering with technical teams to deliver effective, user-centered solutions within regulated environments. Responsibilities of the Business Analyst: Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to uncover business objectives, analyze challenges, and define clear functional requirements. Lead workshops, meetings, and discovery sessions to align priorities and drive consensus among cross-functional teams. Translate business needs into detailed user stories, process flows, and documentation that support development and testing efforts. Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring requirements are accurately understood and implemented. Promote continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to business analysis practices, processes, and documentation standards. Qualifications of the Business Analyst: 5+ years of Business Analysis experience within regulated industries, preferably pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research environments. Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, requirements management, traceability practices, and project lifecycle frameworks. Experience supporting clinical development initiatives and familiarity with clinical trial processes across multiple study phases. Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Compensation for the Business Analyst includes: Salary range: $80,000 - $110,000 annually Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off This job opens for applications on 10/02/2026.
