Schedule: Shift: Nights 3 x 12-hour shifts Weekends: Required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years clinical experience
• Ohio state license required
• RRT preferred (CRT listed)
• BLS, ACLS certifications required
• High school diploma plus college diploma/transcripts required

Key clinical skills:

• Adult critical care and ventilator management (weaning, troubleshooting high-pressure alarms)
• High Flow Nasal Cannula, BiPAP/CPAP
• Airway management: trach care/management, oral/nasal airway placement, suctioning
• ABG interpretation
• Aerosol therapy and common inhaled medications (MDI, nebulizers)
• Nitric Oxide (iNO) and other advanced inhaled therapies

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor respiratory status of patients.
• Implement and manage ventilator support and other respiratory therapies.
• Conduct patient education on the use of respiratory devices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment.
• Document patient care activities in the electronic medical record.

Compliance / Notes:

• Fingerprinting: Urgent Ohio fingerprinting process required.
• RTO required with submission and must be built into contract.
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only).
• Current facility employees ineligible for rehire within 6 months.
• Parking permit options available through facility.
