CNC Machinist

Position – CNC Machinist

Job Location – Waukesha, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Direct Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, and 3rd Shift

Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $30-$42 per hour

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – 5+ years of experience (Milling and/or Boring Bar experience preferred)

Responsibilities

-Experience with milling or operating a vertical turning machine with the ability to set-up large scale parts and select tooling

-Read and interpret blueprints and work order routing

-Properly loads and unloads material and fixturing into CNC machinery

-Uses gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements

-Understands, interprets and edits G-code programming

-Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and toolin

-Understands and has the ability to perform tool wear offsets Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery

Qualifications

-5+years pf experience required

-HS Diploma/GED required

-Experience with Milling and/or Boring Bar preferred

-Ability to CNC tools efficiently, read schematics, and understand general maintenance

-Ability work in fast paced environment
