Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Cycle Patrol in West Hollywood, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols throughout an assigned location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with visitors and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. DayTimeMon09:30 PM - 06:00 AMFri09:30 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, residents, staff, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned public areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Monitor access points and observe activity at the location, documenting incidents, observations, and interactions in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
- Assist with emergency response activities, provide directions and information to the public, and communicate professionally with site representatives and local authorities as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to ride a bike.
- Preferred ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Preferred ability to ride a bike for long periods of time.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
