The Opportunity

The Mid-Market Sales Executive is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with restaurant brands typically ranging from 10 to 200 locations.

If you enjoy prospecting, building relationships, running demos, solving business problems, and winning new business, this role is for you. Success requires energy, persistence, curiosity, and a genuine passion for helping restaurant operators improve their businesses.

We're especially interested in candidates who bring experience from the restaurant, hospitality, payments, POS, or hospitality technology industries. The ideal candidate understands the realities of running multi-unit operations and can quickly establish credibility with restaurant operators by speaking their language and connecting technology solutions to measurable business outcomes.

We're looking for someone with solid sales fundamentals, a strong work ethic, and an understanding of the restaurant business. If you're passionate about helping operators succeed and excited about building relationships that turn into long-term partnerships, we'd love to talk.

Reporting directly to sales leadership, this role offers significant opportunity for career growth while helping GRUBBRR expand its presence among some of the fastest-growing restaurant brands in North America.
What You'll Do
Build Pipeline
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, events, and industry relationships.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Identify and engage decision-makers within target restaurant brands.
  • Consistently achieve activity, pipeline, and revenue goals.
Drive the Sales Process
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer challenges and business goals.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to each prospect's needs.
  • Position GRUBBRR solutions around measurable business outcomes, including revenue growth, labor optimization, guest experience improvements, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop proposals and business cases that clearly communicate value.
  • Manage opportunities from initial outreach through signed agreement.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM records.
Build Lasting Customer Relationships
  • Build trust through responsiveness, transparency, and follow-through.
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers, prospects, and industry contacts.
  • Create customer advocates who provide referrals, references, and future opportunities.
  • Represent GRUBBRR professionally at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
  • View every customer engagement as the beginning of a partnership rather than the conclusion of a transaction.
Qualifications
Required
  • 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience.
  • Proven success prospecting and acquiring new customers.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Experience using Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% including regular visits to the GRUBBRR HQ in Boca Raton, Florida
Preferred
  • Experience selling restaurant technology, POS systems, online ordering, kiosks, payments, loyalty, guest engagement, or hospitality technology solutions.
  • Understanding of restaurant operations and multi-unit restaurant organizations.
  • Experience selling into restaurant, hospitality, franchise, or retail environments.
  • Existing relationships within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Formal sales training in Challenger, SPIN, MEDDICC, or similar methodologies.
  • Ability to be located in our Headquarters in Boca Raton, Florida

Within your first 12 months, you will:
  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Close new restaurant brands and expansion opportunities.
  • Develop a network of customer advocates and referral sources.
  • Help establish GRUBBRR as a trusted technology partner for growing restaurant brands.
