Manager, Commercial Data Management

Job Title/Role: Manager, Data Management (Individual Contributor) Location/Work Model: Hybrid; frequent on-site presence at Cambridge, MA or Research Triangle Park, NC (depending on applicant location) What You'll Do (Responsibilities): Execute assigned data management deliverables aligned to analytics and reporting priorities Support ingestion, transformation, and refresh of commercial data sources within established pipelines Own discrete data sources, feeds, or pipeline components within a defined scope Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks (accuracy and completeness) Implement data mappings and transformation logic per requirements defined by senior team members Respond to analytics/reporting data requests and clarify data issues as needed Coordinate with IT and platform teams to run pipelines and troubleshoot routine processing issues Support external data vendor data loads, refresh cycles, and issue follow-ups Maintain data definitions, assumptions, and documentation for assigned data sources Identify data issues, elevate risks, and support resolution using established processes Apply existing data management standards, controls, and best practices Who You Are (Skills/Attributes): Detail-oriented; values data accuracy and reliability Independently executes well-defined tasks; seeks guidance when needed Manages multiple priorities and deadlines; proactive status/risk communication Practical, solution-oriented with imperfect or incomplete data Deep knowledge of pharma data, focused on US-based data Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (Data Sciences, Engineering, Information Systems, or related) 3+ years in data management, analytics enablement, or related roles (biotech/pharma, healthcare, or consulting) Experience with commercial data sources (CRM, claims, prescription, specialty pharmacy, market data) Thorough knowledge of at least one: IQVIA, Komodo, Clarivate Hands-on experience supporting data pipelines end-to-end (ingestion to analytics-ready delivery) Data validation, reconciliation, and data quality check experience Ability to interpret/implement data requirements, mappings, and documentation SQL and modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, cloud data warehouses) Experience working with analytics, reporting, and IT partners Benefits (as stated): Medical, Dental, Vision, & Life insurance; Fitness/Wellness reimbursement Short- and Long-Term Disability; 15+ paid vacation and end-of-year shutdown (Dec 26- Dec 31) Up to 12 paid holidays + 3 Personal Significance days; 80 hours sick time/year Paid Maternity and Parental Leave 401(k) with company match; Employee stock purchase plan Tuition reimbursement up to $10,000/year; Employee Resource Groups participation #J-18808-Ljbffr Scorpion Therapeutics
