InfraHire is hiring for Mechanical / Manufactuirng Engineer in GA
1. Process Engineering & Optimization:
- Develop, document, and improve manufacturing processes for custom cooking ranges, range hoods, and cabinetry.
- Ensure workflows are efficient, repeatable, and meet high-quality standards.
2. Production Support:
- Provide hands-on engineering support for tooling, machine setup, programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting on the production floor (CNC laser cutting, press brake forming, welding, assembly).
3. Product Engineering & Customization:
- Translate custom design specs into precise manufacturing instructions.
- Collaborate with design/engineering teams to adapt unique product configurations for manufacturability.
4. Technical Documentation:
- Create and maintain manufacturing drawings, SOPs, and assembly instructions to ensure consistency and accuracy.
5. Quality Assurance & Fitment:
- Work with QA to verify tolerances, alignment, and finish quality.
- Investigate variances/rework and implement corrective actions.
6. Equipment & Tooling Management:
- Specify and maintain tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
- Ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained for optimal performance.
7. Collaboration with Design & Engineering:
- Provide manufacturability feedback during product development.
- Support prototype builds and product refinements.
8. Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and implement opportunities to reduce waste, streamline workflow, and enhance productivity.
- Drive continuous improvement while upholding craftsmanship standards.
9. Training & Leadership:
- Train production staff/technicians on new methods, equipment, and assembly processes.
- Serve as a technical resource and mentor.
10. Reporting & Communication:
- Prepare and present reports on production efficiency, quality, and process improvements.
- Maintain clear communication with all departments for seamless operations.
