Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical ICU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)

The Medical-Surgical ICU is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for critically ill patients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background in critical care nursing and will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatment to patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs, assess patient conditions, and respond to changes in status.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families concerning health issues.
• Utilize advanced nursing skills within the Medical-Surgical ICU, including ventilator management, central line care, and emergency interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of two years of experience in a Medical-Surgical ICU setting is preferred.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• California or compact RN license must be held at the time of submission.
