Licensing Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Licensing Attorney with 2-6 years of experience to join its Fintech and Financial Advisory practice in Charlotte, United States. The role involves providing legal support for a high-volume nationwide licensing practice, focusing on state and federally regulated financial services companies. Duties Assist clients with all stages of the licensing life cycle. Conduct comprehensive multistate legal reviews. Draft and compile state filings for license applications. Advise on compliance obligations for regulated entities. Engage in regulatory, compliance, corporate, and transactional work. Requirements Juris Doctor and membership to the State Bar of the desired office. Two to six years of legal experience in licensing matters. Familiarity with the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS). Experience reviewing and analyzing state statutes and regulations. General knowledge of federal consumer finance laws. Ability to produce thorough and detail-oriented work. Excellent communication and interactive skills. Strong planning and organization skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
