3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic

PROMAN Staffing is hiring an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for a manufacturing facility in Arnold, MO. This position is responsible for maintaining, installing, repairing, and troubleshooting plant equipment to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Shift Details:

• 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:45PM – 12:00AM
• 3rd Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 11:45PM – 8:00AM Must be flexible to work either shift as needed

What You'll Do:

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Diagnose equipment issues and replace or repair parts as needed
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, motors, pumps, and facility equipment
• Install, move, and modify equipment or machinery as needed
• Perform welding, plumbing, electrical, and general facility maintenance tasks
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Maintain equipment to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
• Complete maintenance logs, work orders, and required documentation
• Keep work areas clean and follow all safety procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2–5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Experience using hand tools and maintenance equipment
• Must be able to lift 50lbs. and remain on your feet for full shifts
• Ability to obtain forklift certification
• Must provide your own basic mechanical tools
• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and attendance are non-negotiable

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing setting with varying temperatures
• Physical, hands-on work around machinery and equipment
• Overtime may be required based on production needs
