Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Ohio licensure as a Special Education Teacher or Intervention Specialist (or ability to obtain)
• Experience working with middle school students in a special education setting
• Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom climate

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 16 middle school students, guiding them through individualized education plans
• Deliver targeted instruction and interventions tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with teaching staff, support professionals, and families to maximize student success
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports
• Participate actively in team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development
