Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) starting in May, located in Guilderland Center, NY. This role focuses on providing speech therapy services with a non-verbal caseload in an educational setting.
Key qualifications include:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY)
- Experience in school-based speech therapy
- Familiarity with telespeech platforms preferred, though this position requires onsite presence
- Ability to manage and provide therapy to a non-verbal caseload effectively
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions to students with diverse communication needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on student assessments
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies
Location:
- Onsite in Guilderland Center, NY, within the Albany area
This contract offers the chance to work in a dynamic school environment, focusing exclusively on speech therapy for students with non-verbal communication challenges.
