Practice Overview: Our organization is a multispecialty group with over 500 providers, currently in search of a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible obstetrician/gynecologist (OB/GYN). We are looking for a candidate who values a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care. The position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time schedules, featuring a traditional 4-day work week along with on-call duties (1:4), based in Ontario, OR - SAMC Ontario.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for an OB-GYN who desires the backing of a large healthcare system and a well-structured multispecialty practice.

Facility Highlights: Our 10-bed Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) Unit, along with a 2-bed newborn nursery in Ontario, OR (approximately 60 miles west of Boise), is integrated with the Obstetrical Unit and supports an annual delivery rate exceeding 400 babies. This facility is the sole provider in Malheur, Payette, Fruitland, Adams, and Washington Counties offering care by OB-GYN professionals for infants over 36 weeks of gestational age.

Dedicated to delivering contemporary, evidence-based medical care, our NICU team adopts a family-centered approach, fostering collaboration between parents and our skilled staff across the Boise, Nampa, and Ontario units to achieve outcomes that surpass national standards. Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
• Completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency;
• Certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or the ability to obtain certification within three years of employment;
• NCC EFM certification to be achieved within six months;
• Idaho medical license and privileges at SAMC - Ontario;
• Valid registration for controlled substances with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
