Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Addison Group Branch Manager, Finance & Accounting at Addison Group Title: Collection Specialist Type: Full time Salary: $70-75K (depending on experience) Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision & 401K match Location: Sterling VA - in office as needed, remote flexible Schedule: M–F: 8am–5pm or 11am–8pm (depends on time zone) Half-day Saturdays once ramped (8am–12pm), will happen likely once a month The Role: We’re seeking an experienced Collections Specialist with a background in third-party collections to manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts, negotiate payment arrangements, and achieve recovery goals while maintaining professionalism and compliance. What You’ll Do: Contact customers via phone, email, and mail to collect on delinquent accounts. Negotiate repayment plans, settlements, or payment schedules. Use skip tracing tools to locate hard-to-reach customers. Maintain detailed records in our collections system. Ensure compliance with FDCPA, state, and company regulations. What You’ll Bring: 2+ years of third-party collections experience (agency or call center preferred). Strong negotiation and skip tracing skills. Knowledge of FDCPA and related laws. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
