A Civil Site Superintendent plays a critical role in overseeing new build, infrastructure, and public works construction projects. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, this position requires frequent travel to multiple site locations to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations and coordinate tasks among workers and subcontractors
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws
• Monitor project progress and maintain schedules, adjusting as needed to meet deadlines
• Conduct quality inspections to verify adherence to project specifications
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
• Prepare detailed reports on project status, including budget updates and timelines
• Coordinate and lead the project team to maintain productivity and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant educational background, such as a degree in civil engineering or construction management
• Several years of experience in civil construction management

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years in civil construction management
• OSHA Safety Certification and Georgia Blue Card
• Experience with project scheduling and budget management
• Strong quality control, safety compliance, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
